To All CKCC Members:

Time to spiff up your Corvette, practice your favorite parade waves and get ready to put on your parade smiles. On Monday, May 31, 2021, all CKCC members have been invited to participate in the Memorial Day Parade in Cocoa Village. We are to stage our cars on Delannoy St. for the parade in Downtown Cocoa, at 3:15 PM. Please enter Delannoy St. from the south side via Derby St. for staging. The parade is scheduled to start at 4:00 PM and end at approximately 4:30 PM.

The parade route is north on Delannoy St, then left on Harrison St, then left on Brevard Ave. We usually circle the downtown area twice so that would require on the first lap a left on Maryland St. back to Delannoy to make another loop. On the final lap the parade will end where Brevard Ave meets Derby St. It is amazing how many people usually line the street.

For those wishing to go eat after the parade we will go to "Time Out” for a meal which is on Florida Ave. See the map below.

Before the parade we need to have several cars (at least 10) meet at old Searstown in Rockledge and go by a Senior Citizen lover of Corvettes. We visited him about 5 years ago. He lives in a home with 3 other seniors. He has been asking about the Corvettes so let’s not let him down. We will leave the Searstown parking lot at 2:45 PM. His house is near the Rockledge HS. We will then go to Delannoy St for the parade      .
